One Year of Troika – health report

The Memorandum of Understanding devotes a substantial share of attention to the health care expenditures in Government budget – National Health Service, health subsystems (occupation-based health insurance for civil servants and military) and fiscal expenditure.

The health sector is one where many measures were adopted under the MoU, and one to which the population is more sensitive. As a main highlight from this report, we find the adjustment taking place in the pharmaceutical sector, where a tough target for public expenditure was set.
