The Nova Economics Club is the Economics club at Nova School of Business and Economics.
We are composed by undergraduate and postgraduate students at Nova SBE, and are advised by Nova’s supportive faculty.
The club exists to:
- empower students to gain practical experience in economic research and
- to foster debate on important issues within economics.
We develop research projects with academic or public interest, in close cooperation with national and international institutions and under the guidance of experienced researchers and faculty members.
Nova Economics Club has also committed itself to organizing and participating in debates regarding the area of economics, having organized in February 2016 the first Economia Viva a week-long summit of applied economic debate, that drew hundreds to Nova to discuss the path ahead for Portugal’s economy.
